We had a wonderful stay at chy n dowr and was amazed at how beautiful the property and gardens were. There was everything we needed and the housekeeper was very helpful when I needed information. My daughter and I did get bitten by mosquitoes and I believe the problem of mosquitoes is quite common in st Germans so maybe a little tip for future guests would to bring some repellent even though there was some cream in the cupboard available for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. ...

We absolutely loved our stay at Chy-an-Dowr and didn't want to leave! The cottage was thoughtfully laid out and supplied with everything you could think of to make it a comfortable home from home. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, the scones and tea were definitely welcome after a long drive! The cottage is well-placed to drive into Looe or to the beach for the day, we enjoyed day trips to Polperro, Portwrinkle and Talland Bay among other places. We had two cars so were initially worried about parking, but once we figured out the best place to park along the adjacent lane, it wasn't an issue at all. We would definitely come here again. Thank you!...

Fabulous property, perfect for our family and dogs with everything we needed for a great holiday and just a short drive away from the beautiful coast. Thank you!

Excellent property and would definitely visit again. The owners have thought about everything to make sure guests have a great holiday. Parking of our two cars was not an issue. We parked them safely in an adjacent lane from which there is a short path to the property. ...

Chy an Dowr is a perfect house to celebrate, have fun and relax in the sunshine. The pretty garden with the stream and Hot Tub were a delight! Our party consisted of 6 adults across 3 generations including my elderly Mum of 93. It wasn't a problem getting her wheelchair down the footpath to the property although the few steps into the house were a little tricky. The house is modern, open plan and stylish, beautifully decorated - the kitchen fully equiped including coffee pod machine. We were lucky enough to be in the historic village of St Germans for their May Fayre and enjoy the music and festivities at the local Eliot pub. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chy an Dowr. It was sad to leave but I'm sure we will return - thank you Classic Cottages. ...
