The cottage was exactly as described on the website. Beautiful and comfortable inside with everything we needed and the welcome pack was excellent and very generous. Communication with Claire was first class. The garden is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Just what is needed to recharge the batteries. The welcome treats introducing us to this enchanting cottage was so kind and thoughtful and the whole stay was such a special for us at a time when we really needed a lift and this was perfect. Claire and Nick have made the lodge so warm and inviting and the blend of historic and modern works perfectly. The garden is full of interest with both the colourful flowers, shrubs lawn and unique pathway sweeping down to the pergola and secluded patio outside the bedroom, just perfect. A gem!...

A beautiful Devonshire cottage in a delightful part of the county. The garden is an Eden and perfect to sit out in on a sunny day with a glass of wine. The cottage interior is creatively designed, with everything and more you could need. The welcome pack is generous and welcome. We would stay here again and Jasper our Dalmatian loved it. We would recommend the Chichester Arms at Bishops Tawton for a hearty meal. We'd also recommend the Boathouse restaurant at Instow. Brilliant food and views. ...

Beautiful unique cottage. Simply everything you could need for your stay not matter for how long, is there! The welcome gifts were a decedent touch and greatly received!
