A real diamond of a place Chris and Nick have got it so right. Would go back in a heart beat. The lodge beautiful to look at, well equipped, decor and design great, location wonderful. Would give ot more than 5 stars if I could.

A beautiful property, wonderfully decorated and they have thought of everything you might need. The garden is gorgeous and filled with birds, a lovely space to spend time in - our dog also adored it!

Lovely well equipped cottage. Hosts had kindly provided some wonderful goodies. Beautiful garden. Peaceful location. Use the road/access instructions provided by the hosts to go to all places, not just on arrival. Other roads have fewer passing places and you can end up having to reverse quite a distance. ...

Where to begin... The Lodge is a beautiful place to stay, from the minute you drive up it is just absolutely stunning! Everything has been so well thought out and it was the perfect place for a peaceful break. The highlight for me was the garden which is truly fabulous - I was blessed with great weather and I spent time each day out in the garden, its the perfect spot for breakfast - or a glass of wine in the evening! Its a fab garden for birdwatching - so many different species, the woodpecker visited the feeders most days (whilst I was sat there watching!). The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, and one of the best that I've had whilst staying in Classic properties. The information provided by the owners in The Lodge was excellent, and their welcome/goodbye messages were a lovely touch. I'd definitely recommend staying here - you won't be disappointed....
