A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Literally in the middle of nowhere but ideal for events at polhawn fort. We attended a wedding here during our stay and it took us less then 5 minutes to walk there. Thr views are breathtaking. Believe the description when it says the lane down to the cottage is not for low slung cars! The cottage could do with a good clean as there was a lot of dust and cobwebs. It was very dusty and had a damp smell. I found a plug in on the second day which did take the smell away a bit. I would recommend the hideaway to people wanting a relaxed getaway but would recommend you take a heater if you go in the winter as it is a bit chilly being open plan. With a heater though, this isn't an issue....

You will not be disappointed with this cottage which has the most amazing views - the sunset is incredible. The outside seating areas are so comfortable and the walk to the beach along the narrow pathway was a real adventure! The beach is secluded with hardly anyone on it and there were a few time we had it to ourselves! We loved everything about The Hideaway! ...
