The house location is good but the house is rather spartan. Parking not as easy as web site says. Classic Cottages replied to emails very quickly and are really helpful.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Solent Cottage. The cottage is perfectly situated for the beach and nearby town Cowes, and we felt truly at home there. We will certainly be back and look forward to staying there again!

We loved Solent View Cottage and Gurnard. It's a great base for exploring Cowes and the Island, though its quite hilly! The kids playground is great for little ones. There is a shingle beach too. The cottage was clean, tidy and nicely done as shown in the pictures. There's a local shop round the corner and The Woodvale pub has great views, kids menu and games we would recommend it. It's a nice long walk to Cowes on the coast path with a coffee/ice cream cabin and public toilets on the route. We would recommend Classic Cottages (this was our 3rd enjoyable stay with them) and Solent View Cottage, thank you!...
