Mr Testa September 2024

Thank you Classic Cottages for letting us stay in The Chocolate House in Penzance, we had a wonderful stay. It was perfectly situated for us to explore that part of Cornwall. The cottage itself was a gem, the Artist Cafe across the road was wonderful..we had a great breakfast there and fabulous g&t at the end of one of our days and the The Admiral Benbow pub was amazing too (but if you want Sunday lunch there go without breakfast and have an early sitting as they run out). Thankfully this cottage had car parking…it looked tricky to get spaces nearby. We may be back, loved it so much and will certainly recommend it to friends. ...

A great house, centrally located in Penzance with good restaurants and pubs close by. Attractively furnished with very good equipment and facilities.

Mrs Scott July 2024

The Chocolate House is very well-located, near to shops and pubs, walking distance from the train and bus stations and in a fairly quiet street. It is a very well-equipped property, nicely furnished and there were very comprehensive sets of instructions relating to the property, heating, equipment etc. A thoughtful selection of books and guidebooks, and we found the bus timetable particularly useful for getting around by bus since we did not have a car. If I were forced to pick out a downside, it would be the steep stairs up to the first floor, but there is a good handrail and it's fine if you go carefully!...

The Chocolate House couldn't have been more perfect for our visit to Penzance. A quirky property, full of history, located on Chapel Street, a beautiful street full of independent and artisan shops, a couple of great pubs and restaurants. The Harbour is within a 10-minute walk, where you'll find the bus station and the train station. We left the car behind for the week, and it was wonderful! Classic Cottages were on hand for any questions, the booking process was simple and the team amazingly helpful and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough!...
