At the back of the house on the ground floor you will find the utility room along with the downstairs shower room.
Head up the stairs to discover all four of the bedrooms.
Bedroom one offers an ensuite and is calm and peaceful with views to the front of the cottage.

Time for a quick shower before heading to the beach.
Head along to bedroom 3 and enjoy a calm relaxing bedroom thanks to the muted tones and beautiful styling.

There are two cute twin rooms this one benefits from views across the front lawn and large garden.
Yet another glorious view.
The second twin bedroom can be found at the back of the house.
This is a lovely cosy room for those little members of the family.
When you have the perfect spot to enjoy a long relaxing soak after a fun day of exploring.
You also have the option of a shower in the family bathroom.
The garden is a rural treat!
Pull off the lane to find the cottage tucked away in it's own little Cornish nook.
Take advantage of being on the dramatic north coast and the many coast paths.
Summerleaze Beach in Bude allows for surfing and also has a sea pool for those less keen on waves but still up for a dip.
Bude is a great town for poking around shops and finding lovleyplaces to eat.
Clovelly is closeby and is a lovely place to explore.
Head to Bideford for more shopping and possibly even a trip to Lundy Island for the day.
Round the corner from Westward Ho! you'll find Appledor, another lovely seaside town.

We had a wonderful stay at Eastcott Cottage. The house was well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for us to spread out and not get under each others feet and we enjoyed playing games and letting the little ones run off steam in the lovely garden. We were lucky and thankfully the weather was fantastic, which makes a massive difference, but whatever the weather there's plenty to do locally, the beaches at Sandymouth Bay and Duckpool are stunning even on cloudy days. We can also recommend Penbode vets in Bude who fitted us in when Stan our greyhound broke a dew claw following an over enthusiastic zoomy. Many thanks fom all of us. Sarah Reed. ...

Having booked rather a lot of holiday rentals over the years, we came away from our recent stay at Eastcott Cottage [early Jan 2020] knowing that this was definitely one of the very best that we had ever stayed in. The cottage is incredibly calm, homely and welcoming with all the extras that you might need. The kitchen is the centre of the house and is really well equipped; whilst providing that sense of a family space that is so essential during a get away with the children. The sitting rooms are very comfortable and the fire is simply lush - a great place for the grown ups to sip a glass of wine and just stare at the flames whilst the kids all watched films in the next door lounge. The beds are comfortable, large enough even for our very tall family and the warm bedrooms provided the added excitement of a perfect view of the neighbouring farmer's cows for the youngest members of our group! All in all we would recommend Eastcott Cottage as the perfect family holiday retreat, even in the depths of winter - my only reservation is that it might now be so busy that we won't get a look in! Many thanks to the team at Eastcott Cottage for their hard work in presenting the house so nicely upon our arrival, and to Classic Cottages for making the booking so easy....
