A lovely stay at Eastcott Cottage. A great base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage was perfectly set up for 2 families. 2 double bedrooms, 1 with ensuite. 2 twins and a family bathroom upstairs along with 2 lounge areas a lovely kitchen/dining area and a toilet with shower downstairs meant there was more than enough space for 8 of us. There is a large garden to the front of the cottage which is not overlooked, perfect lots of games during the week. A really enjoyable week and we wouldn't hesitate to book again....

Eastcott Cottage was an absolutely beautiful place for our holiday in Cornwall. There are cow next door neighbours, which was lovely, and it is set in a stunning location - a little off the beaten path but not too remote. The kitchen and outdoor areas in particular are wonderful places to be, and the twin sitting areas are cosy and comfortable for evenings in. The main bathroom is very spacious, with a luxurious roll-top bath that was extremely long and deep - perfect for a long relaxing soak after a day of adventures! The cottage is very close to a stunning sandy beach, and we also visited The Old Smithy Inn (delicious food but long wait times even when not busy), which were both tranquil and idyllic. You are a 15 minute drive from the nearest town, where there are restaurants and Lidl, but there is a Co-Op closeby for essentials. Driving is absolutely essential given the location. This is a lovely relaxing retreat of a cottage, perfect for coming back to rest after long days out, or having low-key BBQs in the garden. Would definitely return!...

Comfortable peaceful cottage in lovely countryside, be aware there are sometimes cows at the back of the house, can be very noisy.

We stayed here for Christmas with our children and grandchildren aged 4 and 6. We wanted it to be magical as my son was dressing up as santa. The decorations were minimal and not a sparkly Christmas light in sight! We tried everywhere to buy some, but with no luck. We go away every Christmas and always the properties are always so christmassy, even with twinkly lights outside. So I was very disappointed. Also not much room for 8 to sit around the table, it was a squeeze. A lot of flies due to being bext to a cattle farm, so summer would be more! No fence at bottom of garden near front door, quite dangerous for little ones running about, maybe plant some plants instead of the steep drop. Outside light was temperamental. Also a welcome pack of milk, bread etc would have been better than what was left. Other than that, it was clean, and we enjoyed being together at Christmas. ...

We're really sorry that you were disappointed with the decorations provided by the owners. Although we did try to assist at the time, unfortunately there were no extra decorations available at the property. We're pleased that you enjoyed your Christmas get together overall, and would love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Julie, Customer Support ...
