We have just spent a delightful week at Bashford Lodge with family. The accommodation is excellent; clean, comfortable, very well equipped and superbly situated on the Quantock Hills with stunning views from the lovely balcony. The owners, Gill and David, are very welcoming - Thank you for the delicious cake Gill! And their two horses, Albi and Oscar, were a big hit with our 8 year old grandson! The location is lovely, so tranquil and peaceful but within easy reach of many places to visit in Somerset and North Devon. We were blessed with glorious sunny weather but the lodge would be equally nice for a winter break. I can thoroughly recommend this super property....

We had a wonderful Easter week at Bashford Lodge - it is extremely comfortable, very well appointed for self catering and our host so welcoming. The house is in a beautiful location and despite the weather veering from glorious sunshine to hail and stormy winds we visited many of the local attractions - the highlights being the steam train to Minehead and walk from West Bagborough to Crowcome along The Drove on the Quantocks ridge - fabulous views. We will definitely be making a return visit....
