We are just back from a week at Horseshoe Cottage. What a glorious location! We spent lots of time paddle boarding at the little beach within the park, watching the boats coming and going and exploring the site. The cottage is comfortable and homely. It has a new kitchen - not reflected in the pic on the website, (with a new oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and all the pots, pans etc you need). There are squishy sofas, the leather one can be a challenge to get out of! The staff are fabulous. My mum isn’t that mobile and they gave us a pass to park the car by the beach and they were always up for a chat. You can walk through the french doors in the bedroom and straight across the courtyard to the cafe. I wanted to stay - permanently! ...
