Birch House Studio is the perfect place to get away from it all. Totally peaceful apart from the odd tractor harvesting/bailing. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and comfortable and Judy, the owner next door, friendly and helpful but not intrusively so. Fantastic walking all around. Oh, and a v good local pub. This really is a holiday home-from-home. Extremely well equipped and maintained. The owners are next door if needed and are happy to chat and give advice about the local area. However, they are very aware of their guests’ privacy and are not at all intrusive. The Studio is in the middle of nowhere with very narrow country lanes, which can be a little tricky for driving. However, the roads are really quiet for walking so we hardly used the car at all. ...
