The shower-room has a convenient wet-room shower-area. It can be accessed directly from the single bedroom too.
The single bedroom is tucked away at the back of the cottage - again, not overlooked at all.

By the entrance door is your utility-area and to the left of it the cloakroom.
The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is renowned for its natural habitats..... some prefer to visit the pretty garden that the cottage looks out over !
The coast is an easy drive - this is Sidmouth in east Devon.
The National Trust gardens and house at Killerton between Tiverton and Exeter.

This was our fourth visit to Birch House Studio. As usual everything was spotless with a welcoming feel. Judy greeted us warmly. It is an ideal place for anyone with mobility issues. Nearby in Hemyock there is a Post Office & General Store which has compressive shopping needs, also a local Spar. ‘The Catherine Wheel’ pub there is great, friendly staff & so helpful. Food is excellent too. I’m sure we will return....

Wonderful property. Totally peaceful location. Ideal for walking and exploring the many footpaths and lanes. Not suitable for a large car as manoeuvring in and out of the property was tricky. We would, however, stay here again because it was an outstanding property and we had a memorable holiday. The four nearest pubs provided excellent food and relaxing ambience....
