Second time we have stayed at Captain Retreat, once in September and once in January, both visits excellent and up to our expectations to recharge our batteries. Close to pubs (Cobwebs we liked the best) and restaurants so we did not need to us the car. Plenty to do around the area. The Captains retreat is great for us just a couple but would be great for a family. We will certainly be staying their again....

Fabulous location, ideal for walks to local shops and Pub. Lovely Dog Friendly beach just down the road, Widemouth Bay, and a short drive to places like Padstow and Port Isaac. Looking forward to getting back there.
