A lovely characterful, very cosy cottage where you can listen to the waves rolling into the harbour as you fall asleep (in very comfortable beds!). Left very clean and tidy by the housekeeper (although a bit of painting and deep cleaning carpets might be nice to spruce things up a bit). Having the coastal path on the doorstep is wonderful. And Boscastle is such a fabulous spot, particularly in winter when it’s so much quieter. We love it! Cottage itself is very good value (esp. compared to the other 4 holiday lets in the same row!). We did miss the usual treats we find in every other Classic Cottage though. Just a few teabags and a pint of milk. So bring coffee, kitchen towel, shampoos etc. We did extend our one week to two while down there so that says it all! Thank you! ...

The cottage is in a lovely area, ideal for walking the costal paths. It could do with a really good spring clean though. Cobwebs in the corners by plug sockets, thick dust on the stone floor in the sitting room, kitchen cupboard handles felt greasy so we had to wipe them down. Carpets need a proper deep clean. Some of the tourist leaflets/magazines were years out of date, attention to detail just wasn't there. Which is a massive shame as the position of the cottage is wonderful but the cleanliness let it down. ...
