The cottage is in a lovely area, ideal for walking the costal paths. It could do with a really good spring clean though. Cobwebs in the corners by plug sockets, thick dust on the stone floor in the sitting room, kitchen cupboard handles felt greasy so we had to wipe them down. Carpets need a proper deep clean. Some of the tourist leaflets/magazines were years out of date, attention to detail just wasn't there. Which is a massive shame as the position of the cottage is wonderful but the cleanliness let it down. ...

Penally cottage is the perfect cozy cottage for a winter break. Southwest coastpath literally on your doorstep and a friendly pub just a few minutes away. What more could you ask?!
