Set on the quiet outskirts of The Lizard, the most southerly village in the country, Tara stands a few yards from the owners’ home and a short walk from Anskyber (2326), in a private enclosed garden with glorious sea views to Lizard Point.
Inside, Tara’s tasteful soft cream colour scheme is restful and relaxing. The spacious light-filled sitting/dining-room has sea views, and a wall-mounted LED electric fire creating a cosy atmosphere on cooler evenings. The contemporary kitchen also has lovely sea views.
The family shower-room and attractively decorated bedrooms are beyond the large entrance hall; one has a king-size bed and en suite shower-room, and another has versatile ‘zip and link’ beds. The bunk-bedroom is ideal for children.
The owners offer a complimentary cream tea at the Kynance Beach Cafe - quite an indulgence – but one you can justify by taking an exhilarating clifftop walk along the fabulous coastal path afterwards to balance it out.
