The sand and shingle shoreline is ideal for walking and taking in the views of Gareloch and there are some rocky sections. Wander along to Rhu Point where you will find a naval navigation centre.

Take a gentle stroll along the waters edge with beautiful views over the Clyde Estuary and beyond. Go when the tide is low and you can reach the small lighthouse at the point. The area is popular with fishermen and this is a lovely, sheltered spot to watch the naval ships arriving and leaving Faslane.

Originally built in the 1800's, Glenarn is a beautiful 10 acre west coast garden which opens to the public from 21st March to the 21st September each year, daily from dawn until dusk. Parking is available at the end of Glenarn Road, beside the gate to the garden where a network of footpaths begin.
