No 2 Water Lane

This lovely property is found along a pretty lane opposite a babbling stream and a getaway here will be a delight for you, your family or perhaps a group of friends looking for the ultimate coastal idyll.

Park outside the house, just a hop skip and a jump up three steps to the entrance, open the front door and you will instantly feel like you are at home. The sitting-room is an oasis of calm and tranquility, with exposed pine floors and comfy sofas inviting you to relax and unwind and in cooler months the wood-burner will keep you warm and toasty. This charming room has a feature bay window and classic high ceilings, the perfect place to unwind after a busy beach day. There is a second sitting area linking the sitting room and kitchen diner for those quieter moments with a good book.

The ground floor kitchen/diner is furnished with oodles of units, worktops, and white Mediterranean walls. Fully equipped with an oil fired Rayburn, oven (which is turned off in the summer months), fridge/freezer and dishwasher, there will be no squabbling over the washing up here. It is said the kitchen is the heart of the home, and No 2 Water Lane is no exception. Everyone can meet around the farmhouse kitchen table and chat about the day's adventures, the perfect sociable gathering! You will also find a handy utility with a washing machine in situ and this leads into the family bathroom.

On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, all with quality linens for a great night's sleep. Bedroom one has a luxurious king bed and bedroom two has a super comfy double with a lovely outlook over the gardens and terrace, a little cloakroom completes this floor.

Follow the stairs to the second floor up the traditional narrow staircase (stepped as you arrive onto the landing) and you will find the twin bedroom tucked away in the eaves, this room is perfect for younger guests. It also has a very neat shower-room with a shower head height of 160cm and ceiling height of 175cm.

Outside continues to delight! Head up the steps to find the sunny decked patio area, a fabulous place to sit back, relax and unwind under the Cornish sunshine (children must be supervised in this area).

Al fresco dining comes into its own here, from your first cup of early morning coffee to an aperitif under the stars. The terraced lawned area at the top of the garden is perfect for the children to play in, as it is totally enclosed.
