You can pack up and head out on a day trip to the National Marine Aquarium or visit the iconic Plymouth Hoe. There’s also plenty of shops and restaurants to keep all the family busy.
To the east of Bigbury-on-Sea, you’ll find another popular holiday destination, Salcombe. Around 13 miles away, this picturesque town is a sailor’s paradise. For anyone who loves being out on the water, a visit to Salcombe will make a lovely day out whether you spend it sailing, kayaking, in a dinghy or canoeing.
