Excellent food (especially from Specials board - changes daily), friendly staff. Busy in early evening, so after first night, we booked a table for the following evening(s).

Our local for a week
Only had one meal but couldn’t fault it.
We did walk down for a drink every day.
Wonderful friendly staff.
Highly recommend. Will miss seeing them.

Great meal
Visited a couple of times, once for drinks and then back for a meal as the staff made us feel so welcome. Great food, arrived promptly and was plentiful and hot. Would definitely recommend.

Great Service
This is a very popular pub come restaurant and you are advised to book a table in advance. Food was excellent, well cooked and served with a smile. Great range of beers, ales and wines. Recommended.

Whether you are looking to walk, fish or birdwatch, Hendre Lake Park has plenty of space for all within its 143 acres. A path runs around the lake, perfect for a stoll surrounded by peace and tranquility!
