This long sandy beach is the perfect choice for families and windsurfers a like. With panoramic views of the harbour and South Downs you can spend an hour or the whole day enjoying the scenery. Life guards are in attendance during high season and parking is available close by on the grass banks (charges apply). Dogs are allowed from the end of September through until the end of April, after this time, restrictions apply locally.

This delightful three mile stroll takes you from central Midhurst through pretty Woolbeding Parkland along the side of the River Rother. Take a look at the link to the National Trust website for detailed guidance and where to park.

Deep in the hear of the South Downs National Park. Midhurst is a pretty market town with a plethora of cafes, restaurants and pubs, plus a good selection of eclectic shops. This is the perfect base for walking and cycyling.
