Lifeguards are on duty from May to September and dog restrictions apply during the same dates.

This pretty straighforward walk takes you from the centre of Tenby along the coastal path. Head towards Paragon beach and Castle beach past St Catherine's Island and follow the path to Tenby Castle. From here the undulating path takes in some lovely views along the coastto Monkstone beach and Lodge Valley. Saundersfoot is about five miles away from Tenby and if you wish to return by train the station is a little way out of town. There are also local buses if you wish.

Pretty as a picture, the harbour town of Tenby is surrounded by 13th century town walls and has oodles of charm. With Tenby Castle ruins overlooking the harbour, a great choice of three beautiful beaches and plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes along cobbled streets, there's something for everyone here.
