If a mix of rural and coastal areas are your thing, Cwmcaseg is perfect for you. Pack your walking boots and beach bag and explore the splendid beauty of the surrounding area.

A delightful recently renovated stone cottage, where pets are welcome, sleeping five guests, Cwmcaseg is well located to explore the many attractions in Ceredigion. Chase waterfalls at Devil's Bridge, try white water rafting, explore the coastal path leading to stunning stretches of golden sandy beaches or craggy coves, take a boat trip from New Quay to spot the dolphins often seen in the local bays, visit pretty seaside villages or discover Welsh Castles while taking in the heritage, history and culture of this enchanting corner of Wales.

Refurbished to a very high standard maintaining its authenticity and character, exposed stone walls and beams with huge inglenook fireplace, yet introducing all the possible comforts you could desire on holiday. Full of heart, this warm inviting cottage draws you in to escape the everyday. Curl up on the comfy sofas in the glow of the cosy wood-burner after a day exploring. Take in the views through the sitting-room windows of the stunning Welsh landscape which surrounds you. The well-equipped kitchen also enjoys panoramic views of the unfolding landscape and has all the cook needs for some tasty holiday dishes. There's a useful boot-room off the kitchen, ideal for muddy boots, caring for your dog or sandy buckets, spades and body boards or bicycles. Also on the ground floor is a utility-room and shower-room. At the end of the day, climb the attractive stairs to the well-appointed bedrooms, decked in luxurious white linen and quality furnishings. Two bedrooms offer the versatility of 'zip and link' beds which may be made up as a king-size double or twins (please let us know what you prefer at the time of booking). The attractive third bedroom has a small four-foot double bed. The extensive views are enjoyed from all the bedrooms. Enjoy spending luxurious time in the sleek bathroom; shower or bath, you choose! Star gaze in the clear night sky from Cwmcaseg's patio or relax in the sunshine, immersed in the tranquility of this appealing location.

Larger parties, or those looking for their own space, might wish to book Cwmcaseg and Ysgubor (5810) (sleeping six) nearby, every consideration has been taken for the privacy of guests at both cottages.

Just a short drive away is the bustling seaside town of Aberystwyth, a Victorian seaside resort with beaches, a promenade, good eateries, larger stores and independent shops and cafes. Take the Cliff Railway to enjoy stunning views over Cardigan Bay. For a fun day out discover the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Devil's Bridge waterfalls or the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron.
