You enter the property into the open plan living space graced with a large bay window letting in plenty of sunlight. A modern and stylish room, the living area has a comfortable sofa which is just the place to snuggle up on in front of the Smart TV. Enjoy meals at the dining-table, maybe using local ingredients from the town's delicatessens. The kitchen is set back into an alcove and is well-equipped and well-presented and has everything you need should you decide to have a night in rather than dining at the superb eateries nearby.

Dalesway Apartment is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and sits below Ilkley Moor and the famous Cow and Calf rocks with a pub with the same name. with breathtaking views over the Wharfe Valley. There are many local walks from Ilkley exploring the countryside, or maybe challenge yourself to the Dales Way Walk which starts at The Old Bridge in Ilkley and goes all the way to Windermere in the Lake District, the Pennine Way is also a very popular walk. Yorkshire abounds with cycle trails for both serious and more recreational cyclists. For those of a less active nature, take a relaxing meander around the town, your first stop may be Bettys famous tea rooms, literally a two minute walk from the property. Indulge in an afternoon tea and then bring home some goodies, there's plenty to tempt you. Restaurants including the Box Tree are many and varied and individual shops make Ilkley a shopper's paradise. Bolton Abbey is but a short drive away, walk in its 30,000 acre grounds or sit by the river in the sunshine. Burnsall with its river and views of the hills and Appletreewick with its pub, The Craven Arms, are both picturesque spots and perfect for either a summer's day picnic or a crisp winter stroll. For a wet weather day, the Saltaire World Heritage Site boasts Salts Mill which houses a gallery dedicated to local artist, David Hockney. The market town of Skipton, gateway to the Dales, is close by with its cobbled streets and castle. Harrogate, another spa town, has plenty to keep you amused for a full day out. Each October Ilkley holds a literary festival which has been running for 50 years. There is so much to do, you will be spoilt for choice.
