With endless sea views, incredible interiors and the shortest of walks to the beach, this exquisite homestay for six is for ocean lovers looking to escape the everyday and reset.
Llanamor, meaning 'by the sea', is set to impress, showcasing beautiful coastal luxe interiors that perfectly compliment the setting and exude comfort.
The sitting-room bathes in natural light with the large windows framing the ocean scene. Utterly inviting, this room is a year-round haven, as perfect on balmy summer days with the doors open as it is on stormy nights when the ocean takes on a whole different view, as you snuggle up on the sofas enjoying time together.
The views continue in the kitchen/dining-room making it a real pleasure for the designated chef. The sleek kitchen is equipped with everything you could need including a coffee machine for delicious morning cuppas enjoyed perched on the stools at the breakfast-bar. Serve celebration meals, hearty family suppers and leisurely holiday brunches at the dining-table, which sits proudly in front of the patio doors that lead outside where further delights await.
The impressive south-facing terraces offer plenty of al fresco spaces. Set at different levels to make the most of the elevated location and coastal views, you'll have a wonderful backdrop to gaze at whilst enjoying elevenses on the front terrace, lazy afternoons lounging on the deck chairs or whilst sipping hot chocolates around the fire-pit.
Time for bed? Well, Llanamor's bedrooms are the ultimate sanctuaries for a good night's sleep. Each with their own en suite facilities and king-size beds adorned with luscious linens, gorgeous bedspreads and plenty of plump cushions…you'll be cocooned in luxury. Bedroom three can also be set up as a twin, the choice is yours, and the other two bedrooms boast stunning sea views, the perfect excuse for holiday lie-ins. Double doors lead from bedroom one to an outside terrace which has to be the perfect spot to enjoy your favourite tipple as you watch the sunset at the end of a relaxing day in this charming part of Cornwall - bliss!
Should you decide to venture further afield, this peninsula has an enchanting quality, much unspoilt and a delight to explore.
Don those walking boots and have cameras at the ready as you head off along the coastal paths that treat you to breathtaking coastal views, charming fishing villages and an abundance of wild flora and fauna.
For a 'good walk spoilt' put your handicap to the test on Portwrinkle's links golf course or take things at a gentler pace as you soak in the beauty and grandeur of the historic houses and gardens at Mount Edgcumbe, Antony and Port Eliot Estates.
The twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are utterly charming with narrow streets, colour washed cottages and heaps of places to eat and drink, and a little closer to home The Finnygook Inn is only a 20 minute walk up the hill in the village of Crafthole, where there is also a community shop.
Hop on one of the ferries over the Tamar to the maritime city of Plymouth, where the historic barbican and the iconic Smeaton's tower await, and in the working fishing town of Looe, home to TV's 'Beyond Paradise', immerse yourself in traditional seaside fun, indulge in fish and chips on the Banjo Pier or join a fishing trip and take you own catch home to serve up for supper.
