Bunk-bedsSet along the picturesque Anglesey coastline, 5 Green Edge is a substantial three-storey, Grade II Listed Georgian home blending historic charm with modern comfort. Step inside into the traditional tiled entrance hall, where you'll find the first of two sitting-rooms on your left. This inviting space is perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying watching the world go by through huge windows. Adjacent, the elegant dining-room, with a gas fire, makes an ideal setting for memorable family dinners or special celebrations. A well-equipped kitchen/breakfast-room, complete with a dining-table for leisurely breakfasts, opens onto a private courtyard brimming with mature shrubs and access to a charming new garden-room. Outside seating is provided.
On the first floor, a second spacious sitting-room invites you to take in breathtaking mountain and coastal views through its grand period windows, while the gas fire and sumptuous sofas create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The first bedroom, featuring a double bed, overlooks the courtyard and offers glimpses of the iconic Beaumaris Castle. The stylish bathroom, with a luxurious roll-top bath, adds a touch of indulgence, and a separate shower-room is conveniently located nearby.
Upstairs on the second floor, a second double bedroom provides stunning views of the coastline and mountains, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day exploring. The third bedroom, with two single beds, is ideal for families or friends, while the fourth bedroom, equipped with bunk-beds, offers a playful space for children.
Situated on the stunning coast of Anglesey, Beaumaris is more than just a picture perfect town; it's an invitation to step back in time and explore ancient streets lined with galleries, quaint tea shops, independent shops, outdoor craft markets and good eateries.
As the sun rises over the Menai Strait each morning you'll feel a peacefulness to Beaumaris' seaside charm. Anglesey's other treasures are within easy reach; the legendary Newborough beach and forest with red squirrels and ancient pines lining the coastal footpath, the windswept cliffs of South Stack, a sanctuary for seabirds and the wonderful sandy beaches of Rhosneigr, Benllech, Aberffraw and Llanddona are nearby.
Anglesey is also home to ancient standing stones, like the Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber and the Lligwy Burial Chamber, both remnants of Neolithic and Bronze Age civilisations.
Ynys Mon (Anglesey) is an island where unspoiled nature and deep-rooted history create an intoxicating escape all year round, with so much to discover you'll wonder which way to go next!
