For lovers of the coast and countryside, for those seeking peace and relaxation, for foodies and most importantly for garden enthusiasts, treat yourself to a well-deserved break at Coachman's Cottage. Hidden away in the pretty rural village of St Kew, within walking distance of the renowned foodie pub, you will also find the stunning beaches, cliffside walks, fishing towns and villages along the spectacular north Cornish coastline within easy access.

Set within three acres of the most exquisite gardens, woodlands and streams that have been lovingly created and shared with the very talented and green-fingered owners, who live next door. They are on hand to give you the warmest welcome and then leave you in peace whilst they continue to work on their horticultural masterpiece. And what a masterpiece it is - it is the place to reconnect, rewind and revive the senses, it is quite simply idyllic with plenty of al fresco spaces for you to enjoy. So, take morning coffee in the courtyard, a leisurely lunch by the pond, have fun with garden games on the lawn, lose yourself in the pages of a good book on the garden bench, or enjoy evening sundowners in the back garden spotting the free-range ducks as they take themselves off to bed for the evening. They are charming and a little quackers!

Inside you will find immaculately presented, traditional interiors, which perfectly complement the setting and ensure that you enjoy the setting from every room whatever the weather. The large patio doors from the sitting/dining-room beckon you outside, and in the country-style kitchen you can pitch up at the breakfast-bar to continue to gaze at the wonderful setting and perhaps get some inspiration for your Garden of Eden at home.

Heading out for the day, why not pack up a picnic and start exploring all the delights that this popular part of Cornwall has to offer. Immerse yourself in the beautiful seascape and gorgeous sandy beaches at Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Trebarwith Strand, If the food at the village pub has whet your appetite, then you are well placed to indulge further. Local farm shops and cafes are plentiful and celebrity chefs Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth have all made this area their home to serve up their culinary delights.

Outdoor pursuits are part of daily life, and you are sure to get involved. Hire some bikes and hit the Camel Trail as it wends its way from Bodmin Moor out to Padstow on the coast, don those walking boots to discover the coastal footpaths or moorland rambles or try your hand at sailing, surfing or open water swimming.

For historians, Tintagel is stacked with Arthurian legend and the historic houses and gardens at Pencarrow and Lanhydrock will transport you back to a Cornwall of years ago.
