Tucked away in the heart of the bustling village of Goldsithney is this cute retreat, a lovingly restored cottage perfect for small families or couples. Arty and characterful, Pink Cottage welcomes you in a traditional Cornish setting.

Step inside to find numerous original features and lots of charm. The sitting-room is a joy and has plenty of comfy seating and a toasty wood-burner, perfect for cosy evenings in catching up on the day's adventures. The owners' interior design shines through in every detail. Through the doorway is the well-equipped kitchen and dining area for four, beautiful local crockery sits on the shelves, sit back and relax with your morning coffee enjoying the simple joy of the local surroundings.

Upstairs you will find two beautiful bedrooms, to the right step up into a king-size bedroom with views of the quintessential English garden and to the left, step up into a sweet room with bunk-beds. A stylish family bathroom separates the two.

Outside the garden does not disappoint, a gravel courtyard leads to an enclosed area of lawn with plenty of outdoor furniture, benches, ornate tables and chairs and a charming summer-house so sit back and catch the sun. Light the barbecue and eat al fresco as this garden is a perfect place to relax.

If you decide to eat out, the village has two excellent pubs both with tempting menus. A handy local shop is also just around the corner with a traditional tea-room. A bus service runs through this delightful village if you feel like leaving the car.

Pink Cottage is so very well situated to explore enchanting west Cornwall. So many breathtaking places to visit, you have come this far, take the time to experience the magic of west Cornwall.

The long sandy beach at Perranuthnoe is only a mile away and nearby Prussia Cove is a swimmer's delight, dip in off the rocks. Take a trip to St Michael's Mount, just five minutes away, and step across the causeway to the castle. Take a picnic and walk the Pilgrim's Way. Jump on the open top bus from Penzance and visit the bohemian village of St Just then onto Land's End, the scenery is spectacular.

Take the train from St Erth to St Ives with its galleries and sandy beaches, perhaps a boat trip to spot the seals and dolphins. Newlyn and its bustling harbour is so understated and always worth taking some time to stop and reflect, chat to the fishermen and listen to their stories.
