This grand house has been thoughtfully styled and decorated throughout offering not only four bathrooms but a games-room, oodles of space and a fabulously large garden with sun terrace. If you're looking for somewhere for a multigenerational get together or a gathering of friends then look no further - you've hit the jackpot.

As you step over the threshold you will instantly feel at home and delight in the space and styling with many unique and bespoke features. Although grand and spacious there is a lovely flow throughout the house, no detail has been overlooked from comfort to all the mod-cons. The grand sitting-room opens to a fabulous sun terrace overlooking the wraparound garden which will be enjoyed from dawn to dusk, and as the stars come out light the wood-burner, snuggle into a comfy chair and escape into a film for an hour or two with a few treats.

Hope House offers the beauty of four bedrooms that are equal in size and grandeur so there's no need to resort to picking straws for the best room! Bedroom one is located on the ground floor and with its handy en suite is perfect for those who are less mobile. The other three bedrooms are located on the first floor off the impressive landing. Bedrooms two and four sit at either end of the landing, both with en suite bathrooms, whilst bedroom three offers the versatility of a 'zip and link' bed which can be configured as either a super-king double or twin, the choice is yours. The family bathroom sits just outside on the landing, perfectly positioned next to bedroom three.

Outside the garden, accessed via stone steps, is an oasis of tranquility and space that will be shared with deer, foxes, hedgehogs and birdsong! However, the land and woodland beyond the garden are strictly private. The joy of Hope House is the option to escape from daily life allowing you to reconnect as a family with time on your side, you are sure to relax into those holiday vibes effortlessly with an abundance of holiday memories made along the way.....you simply won't want to leave; in fact we have no doubt once discovered you will come back year after year.

This part of rural Devon is leafy and tranquil, perfect for relaxing.

Holsworthy is a short drive away and has some independent shops, along with a supermarket where you can stock up on the essentials.

Venturing out, head to Okehampton where you can stop for a morning coffee or a hearty breakfast and get the day off to a good start. There's also a pub or two where you can indulge in a tasty Sunday roast. If you fancy somewhere more cosmopolitan, trains run regularly from Okehampton into the bustling city of Exeter via the Dartmoor Line - perfect for a spot of retail therapy and some riverside dining at Exeter's iconic quayside.

To get a real taste of this part of Devon, why not explore the Granite Way, an 11 mile multi-use trail which starts next to Okehampton railway station and runs to Lyford along a former railway line. There are some sublime views en route; it's ideal for a day out with a picnic and for exploring on two wheels or two legs!

For a slice of country life, a short drive will take you to Strawberry Fields Farm Shop at Lifton, where you can pick your own strawberries during the summer months, browse the extensive farm shop and indulge in some tasty treats in their on site restaurant. There are other seasonal events (please check their website for more information) including their legendary pumpkin patch for little ones in the autumn - not to missed!

If the coast is calling, head to Bude where you can ride the Atlantic rollers, try coasteering, or simply spend a day on one of the many golden beaches that dot this stunning stretch of north Cornwall. There is so much to see and do in the area, one visit won't be enough!
