Bunk-bedsThis welcoming retreat is close to the pretty village of Seaview and the sandy beach at Ryde, and has the Isle of Wight Gin Distillery within walking distance. Thoughtfully presented, this quirky home-from-home is ideal for families to base themselves whilst exploring all the delights that the island has to offer.
Once inside you will find a delightful open plan living space welcoming you in. The bespoke kitchen is perfect for sociable evenings where everyone can gather round whilst the chef in the group cooks up a storm.
The living area is comfy, start the day here enjoying a moment of calm before the day's adventures start or cosy up in the evening with a book as the day comes to a close. The children in the group can retreat to the mezzanine snug - a brilliant space for a card game or puzzle.
Both bedrooms lead from the living area - the first has a sumptuous king-size bed and single bed, the en suite bathroom has a dreamy bathtub which is great for a soak at the end of the day. The second bedroom with bunks finishes off the sleeping areas.
There is also a shower-room ideal for a refreshing shower after a busy beach day.
Outside you will find yourself in a quiet setting with beautiful views; there is plenty of space for some outdoor games and a picnic. For more formal al fresco dining grab a chair and enjoy the vista.
The friendly owners live on site and are on hand if you any any queries but will leave to you to enjoy your holiday in peace in this lovely part of the world.
For larger groups of up to seven, this semi-detached property can be booked with the neighbouring property The Studio (5753) offering the ideal accommodation solution for extended family or friends, with the convenience of independent spaces.
Ryde beach and neighbouring Appley beach both have a wide expanse of soft golden sands, particularly when the tide is out and the waters are shallow, perfect for younger ones to enjoy a splash in the sea! Bask in the sunshine and admire the beautiful views while you enjoy a spot of lunch or an ice cream at one of the beach cafes.
The Island as a whole is full of wonderful places to explore for the whole family. There are several attraction parks located across the Island, Blackgang Chine is located on the west side of the Island, being the oldest amusement park in the UK it certainly will be one to tick off your to do list. Alternatively, there is Tapnell Farm, offering a fantastic range of fun including a new aqua park available for all to enjoy!
Little ones will love the children's play park and sandy beach at Sandown, the Isle of Wight Zoo and Dinosaur Isle, all are located within a short distance of one another and make for a great day out.
