This handsome mid terrace cottage can be found tucked away a couple of streets back from the seafront and just a short walk from all the delights St Mawes has to offer. Enjoy breathtaking sea views from the floor to ceiling glass patio doors in the open plan living-room or out on the balcony and terrace, sit and watch the boats go by and wonder at the ever-changing colours of the sea and sky.

A holiday at Seaview not only comes with stunning ocean views but also a parking space, a rare find in this pretty coastal town, just a few steps down from the front door. Perfect for a couple or small family, this lovely cottage is the ideal base from which to explore this most beautiful part of the county. Sandy beaches, pretty villages, manor houses and gorgeous gardens, whatever you like to do and see on holiday, you will find it here on the Roseland peninsula.

After a day out exploring or relaxing on the beach, head back to the cottage to freshen up before dinner at one of the many eateries in town, all serving fresh local produce for your enjoyment. For those happy to cook at home, visit one of the village stores or farm shops to choose from a selection of fresh vegetables, seafood and meats all sourced from local suppliers.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything a home cook or aspiring chef could need to cook up a feast, you may, however, get distracted by the view out to sea! Take a seat at the dining-table or out on the terrace, it's dinner with sea views wherever you choose to sit.

As the eyelids get heavy, head off to your comfy king-size bedroom, complete with en suite shower-room and access to the outside terrace. Open up the door on a warm summer evening, and on a clear night, get out there to enjoy the night sky. The second bedroom is a bunk room, ideal for the younger ones, and there is also a bathroom on this floor so if a soak is required after a coast path walk, pour in the bubbles and relax.

St Mawes is the perfect location for a Cornish getaway. From Seaview you can walk to Summers beach which is ideal for families and a great place for paddle boarders, or why not hire a kayak from the harbour and explore the coast. For a more historic outlook why not walk to St Mawes Castle and marvel at the stunning panoramic views across the Carrick Roads or perhaps pick up the coast path which leads to St Just In Roseland and the pretty 13th Century church described by John Betjeman as 'to many people the most beautiful churchyard on earth', the Mediterranean gardens at the church are a sheer delight.

If you fancy a day out, wander down to the harbourside and take the passenger ferry to the maritime town of Falmouth, with a great selection of eccentric shops and a fabulous museum. You can also catch the smaller ferry to lesser-known Place Manor where you can explore hidden creeks and the beautiful coastline around St Anthony headland. Pack up a picnic and stop off at one of the many secluded coves for lunch and a swim. Portscatho is also a short car ride away, a gorgeous village with the most beautiful beaches and the Hidden Hut where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy the freshest of local produce (bookings are essential for feast nights).

However you choose to spend your time, Seaview is the ideal base for your Cornish adventures.
