With easy access to the delights of Port Isaac, the golden beaches of north Cornwall, open Moorland and the Camel Trail, this is a great cottage for couples and small families. Stride out along the coastal path taking in the breathtaking vistas that surround, mosey around the charming fishing villages, spend endless hours riding the waves, savour the delights of Cornish cuisine and hospitality, before returning to the warm and cosy haven that awaits at Rose Cottage.

The large sunny garden of this idyllic semi-detached cottage will provide plenty of space for younger members to burn up some energy or play fetch with their furry friend whilst adults can relax on the terrace or fire up the barbecue and cook up the freshest of produce from the local farm shops and enjoy meals in the glorious Cornish sunshine. On chillier days, the warmth of the crackling wood-burner in the sitting-room is just the tonic whilst having a family game night or simply delving into a good novel. Upstairs the two cottage bedrooms are so charming, with the second bedroom being set up as a single or twin room depending on your needs.

For days out and about, you will be spoilt for choice and with easy access to the A39 you will soon be well on your way.

For sandcastles, surf and all things seaside, the golden sands of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Trebarwith are close by and if you want to view the beach from a different angle, pop on those walking boots and hit the coastal footpath - you are in for a treat. The dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor serves up more great walks with plenty of moorland pubs serving up wholesome food to fuel you along the way. For culinary delights, where do we begin, there's so much choice. Let's start with the bistro pubs in the nearby villages of St Tudy and St Kew, where you can also indulge in delicious delights at their farm shops. For fine dining, celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw has two restaurants in Port Isaac, and Padstow is the home to Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. Whilst in Cornwall you cannot go without having a pasty and with Aunt Avice's just up the road, you could be tempted daily!!

Try your hand at sailing in Rock where you can also hop on the foot ferry across to Padstow. The nearby town of Wadebridge is a vibrant place, with plenty of places to eat and drink, a great choice of independent shops and one of the places you can join the Camel Trail, perfect for all abilities hire some bikes and head off to the coast in one direction and the moors in the other.
