Seeking a seaside escape, then come and discover our coastal homestay, with stunning ocean views, a short stroll to the beach, use of a private spa area and miles of coastal walks on your doorstep. It's perfect for you and your loved ones, of the two or four-legged variety!

All on one level, the interiors are set to impress, and immaculately presented to ensure you have the most comfortable of stays. The living rooms sure make the most of those views and the little terrace offers the perfect spot to watch the sun set with your favourite tipple in hand, before retiring to a choice of 3 bedrooms to enjoy some rest.

Nestled in the beautiful Rame Peninsula, Thanckes Lodge enjoys an elevated position in the seaside hamlet of Portwrinkle. The Links golf course is a short putt away, and why not indulge in some good old Cornish hospitality? There's a little beach cafe and the renowned village pub is just a 10-minute stroll up the hill, where you will also find a little community shop.

Take time out to explore the area, you won't be disappointed, with beautiful seascapes, bays, beaches, and coves all along the peninsula. The charming twinned coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with their winding streets, pastel-coloured cottages, and a great choice of places to eat and drink are well worth a visit and the working fishing town of Looe provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep-sea shark fishing.

The historic houses and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe and Antony (National Trust) are close by, as is the renowned Port Eliot, home of the annual festival and a whole host of events held throughout the year. And if city life floats your boat, head over the Tamar to the maritime city of Plymouth to visit the historic Barbican and famous Plymouth Hoe, take in some first-class theatre or visit the city's latest hotspot, The Royal William Yard.
