Spoil yourselves with a stay in gorgeous West Cottage. Your private heated pool is waiting, followed by some luxurious time in the hot tub, taking in the fresh countryside air. Being west-facing, the private courtyard garden catches the sun from mid-morning until sunset. Sheer bliss for getting away from it all in the bubbly tub. Full of character, retaining traditional features with contemporary comforts, high vaulted ceilings, stylish interiors, two well-presented en suite bedrooms and under-floor heating, you're promised the best break. As you can imagine most guests can't wait to return. West Cottage nestles amongst rolling meadows, just a ten minute drive from the village and sandy beach at Amroth, which has a choice of good pubs, shop and cafe, just eight miles from the popular seaside town of Tenby.

As soon as you arrive in this spellbinding area, you will realise you have chosen well. There is designated parking for two cars opposite the cottage. Step inside and feel the warm, welcoming ambiance. For your enjoyment, the owners always leave a lovely welcome pack. The two bedrooms are at either ends of the cottage. To the right is the en suite super-king room, which may also be made up as twins (please let us know when booking) and to the left, the en suite king-size double room. Relax in the cosy sitting-area, watching a movie or reading a favourite book. From the well-equipped kitchen gaze over the picturesque rural views, whilst cooking a tasty holiday meal. The open plan design creates the perfect space for chatter and laughs together. Gather around the table for leisurely holiday meals, board games on rainy days or for planning the holiday excursions. There is plenty for everyone to do in the surrounding area.

Take your coffee and newspaper on to the terrace and soak up the morning sun or dine al fresco under the stars. The heavenly garden is a special place, a stream runs nearby, there's a pond and lawned area. In the grounds are the remains of a water wheel from the former mill (children will need supervision).

There is also a charging point for electric vehicles - this is a 22 kilowatt untethered fast charger which takes a type 2 plug (available on a pay-as-you-go basis, please pay the owner direct if you wish to use this).

The owners live on the same site, they respect the privacy of all their guests and their living accommodation faces in the opposite direction to the cottage.

For great family days out choose Folly Farm, Adventure Park and Zoo, which also has a large indoor play area, Heatherton Adventure Park, the Dinosaur Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and Great Wedlock Farm and Deer Park. Just a short drive from the cottage are glorious beaches to explore. The golden sands of Tenby await. North Beach, South Beach and Castle Beach are picture postcard Pembrokeshire beaches for memorable sunny days, building sandcastles, playing in the surf and enjoying ice cream. From Tenby harbour catch the boat to Caldey Island where the monks continue centuries of tradition farming the land. The Abbots Kitchen makes the best chocolate and fudge which is sold in the shop on the island. There are many castles to explore, including Pembroke, the birthplace of Henry V11, Manobier and Carew. For golf lovers the Trefloyne course offers a unique experience with panoramic views, set in stunning parkland near the sea. Visit a hidden wooded valley in Colby Woodland Gardens, a 900 acre estate with secret walled garden and cafe. For day trips a visit to the magnificent cathedral at St Davids is worthwhile, and spectacular beaches at Whitesands and Newgale are very popular with surfers.

Whether it's relaxing at this dreamy retreat, making the most of the heated pool and hot tub, or exploring the beauty of the surrounding area, no matter what the season is, you're in for a special treat.
