Cistus Cottage is a little beauty - sensitively and stylishly presented whilst retaining much of its original charm with exposed beams and stonework, flagstone floors, large inglenook fireplace and cloam oven, you will be set to holiday mode from the minute you arrive.

The kitchen/dining-room is a triumph of a room, exquisitely presented, where modern country-style meets rustic chic with open shelves, bench seating and bi-fold doors leading out to the garden. You are sure to linger many any hour indulging in leisurely meals at the table and if you want to take your meals outside there's a choice of places to sit out and you can even cook up a feast on the fire-pit barbecue, with its impressive stone circle seating, even King Arthur and his knights would be impressed. If you want to snuggle up, the charming sitting-room is furnished with comfort and style and the perfect place to relax after an exhilarating winter stomp along the coastal footpath, cosied up in front of the warming wood-burning stove.

The spacious wet-room is on the ground floor, leading off from the kitchen, ideal for a quick rinse of sandy toes after a day on the beach or to grab a sneaky croissant on the way to your morning shower!

When you've reached the end of the day and you're ready to turn in, ascend the stairs to the cottage bedrooms. The main bedroom sits at the top of the stairs and leading off this room is the bunk bedroom - the cutest of rooms with the beds set at right angles, it will thrill any youngsters in the party.

Set right on the road that leads into the village of Delabole, you can walk to the traditional village pub and convenience store, ideal when you fancy stocking up on those essential items or grabbing a take-away from the fish and chip shop.

For those who enjoy walking, the nearby coastal footpath winds along stunning headlands and through breathtaking coves which are carpeted with bluebells and primroses in the spring and for more floral delights the gardens and historic houses of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are all within easy reach.
