A gorgeous 4 star Visit Wales graded property, located within a five minute walk from the heart of picturesque St Davids, rich in heritage and Welsh culture, boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, well stocked supermarket, butcher, galleries and excellent pubs are at your fingertips. Stunning Carfai beach, a pristine sandy bay with some striking outcrops of rock, is a twenty minute walk from the cottage. The surfer's paradise, glorious Whitesands, with sweeping golden sands, is a five minute drive, has easy parking and a great cafe for a spot of lunch. The scenery, bold, exquisite and breathtaking may be enjoyed from the coastal path. A short walk from Whitesands, along the path, is Porthseleu where children love the rock pools. Many more beautiful Pembrokeshire beaches are within a twenty minute drive. This magnificent corner of Pembrokeshire offers something for everyone. A holiday must is a boat trip to spot the local sealife and to take in the spectacular coastal scenery. If you're lucky, a pod of dolphins may come swimming by.

There is plenty of living space, with a large kitchen/dining area, a stylish, super comfortable sitting-room which lies at the heart of the cottage adjoining the spacious sun-room, which overlooks the gorgeous enclosed gardens. Curl up on the sofa in front of the fire on chillier days watching a movie or reading your favourite book. Throw open the sun-room doors leading into the garden, perfect for a cooling sea breeze on a warm summer's day. The large dining-table and chairs in the sun-room are made for fun holiday meals or sunny breakfasts before a day on the beach. Light and airy, the roomy kitchen comes complete with everything the holiday chef needs. Lots of local produce is available in the shops, farmer's markets and a real treat, fresh seafood from the village shop, Bay View Stores, in nearby Solva.

After a day in the fresh sea air a good night's sleep is promised. On the ground floor are two beautifully furnished en suite double rooms, filled with a warm and welcoming ambiance for some much-needed calm and quiet time. Climb the stairs from the hallway to the elegant family bathroom and twin room. Take luxurious time out soaking in the bath, reading one of the many books available in the cottage.

With many games and a television, children with love the playroom on the ground floor.

Step into the garden for a blissful relaxing space. Take your pick of two patio areas to enjoy al fresco dining in the sunshine or under the starry skies. Being enclosed, the large lawned garden is perfect for the children to have endless fun in the sun.

Part of the garage is available to guests to store bikes, wet suits, surf boards etc.

St Davids is Britain's smallest city, steeped in history, soak up the mystical vibe. The magnificent 12th Century cathedral is well worth a visit. The cathedral cafe offers a delicious locally-sourced menu. The gothic ruins of the neighbouring Bishop's Palace provide a dramatic backdrop for theatrical productions in the summer months. The area around St Davids has breathtaking scenery, being part of the coastal national park and surrounded by the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. In St Davids, Oriel y Parc, the National Park Information Centre boasts a Class A landscape gallery, exhibiting art and artefacts from the National Museum of Wales. Try a boat trip to the wild offshore islands of Ramsey, Grassholm, Skomer and Skokholm spotting sea life amongst the waves and the rugged landscape. Catch a glimpse of puffins (April to early August on Skomer), gannets, porpoises, dolphins and whales.

There are beaches galore to choose from in the area, including Abereiddy and the natural deep water blue lagoon, Abermawr, Aberbach and a little further along the coast, Newgale, Druidston, Broad Haven and Little Haven. For a good Sunday roast and exquisite gins, St David's Kitchen, or take a coffee and toasted sandwich at Porthclais Kiosk, either as a scenic stop on a walk or make a special trip! The Cross Inn and the Bishops serve really good pub fayre. Bagels and Brews is perfect for your brunch in St Davids, the Really Wild Emporium, or challenge your family and friends to escape from St Davids Escape Room. For a special treat the award-winning Blas Restaurant in the Twr y Felin Hotel is a short walk away. Brilliant, locally inspired clues and heaps of fun. Why not try coasteering with TYF or taste bugs at the nearby Bug Farm, recently featured on television. There are great family attractions throughout Pembrokeshire, Folly Farm, a day trip to Ireland from Fishguard or dolphin spotting trips from New Quay, Hangar Five trampolining in Haverfordwest, or take a day trip to Tenby or Saundersfoot.
