Zip and linkThis wonderfully spacious house is perfect for those who love walking, exploring and relaxing in the utmost comfort. Tucked in the middle of three properties and just off the waterfront in the tranquil village of Flushing, there is plenty on offer in the village with two local pubs, a harbourside cafe, village shop, coastal footpaths and a sandy beach all within a few minutes' walk.
Easy Oars is a delightful holiday home; beautifully furnished to offer a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The cosy sitting-room has a comfy sofa for relaxing on after a day on the beach and a fabulous wood-burner to keep you cosy at any time of year. The contemporary open plan kitchen/diner is beautifully light and bright with everything you might need, including an espresso coffee machine - to ensure you can make the perfect cappuccino. Bi-fold doors lead directly out onto the decked area where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or catch the evening sunshine with an aperitif. The under-floor heating on the ground floor will ensure you always have toasty toes.
The first floor is home to two lovely bedrooms and the family shower-room with luxurious walk-in shower, perfect after a day on the beach. The double bedroom is decorated in subtle muted tones and has a luxurious king-size double bed to ensure a good night's sleep. The second bedroom has convenient two-foot six-inch twin beds which can also be set up as a king-size bed; ideal for children or adults alike. A private parking space is available behind the property which is a bonus in the small village of Flushing. Easy Oars really does have it all when it comes to your Cornish getaway.
The picture-perfect village of Flushing sits on the banks of the estuary, overlooking Falmouth harbour and beyond. Days here can be spent idly enjoying the peace and quiet and relaxing by the water's edge. If the mood takes you and you feel like venturing further afield, there's a plethora of adventures to be had just a short journey away. Discover the seafaring history of Falmouth at the Maritime Museum, or perhaps wander around the selection of boutiques, eclectic shops and cafes. For walkers, the coast path can be followed around the headlands, secret coves and dramatic cliffs, where the everchanging view will inspire - the walk to Cafe Mylor for breakfast is well worth it.
For gardeners the stunning landscapes of Trebah, Durgan and Caerhays should be on the bucket list, or perhaps venture further afield and take in the mighty biomes of the Eden Project or discover The Lost Gardens of Heligan which were lost in time for over 30 years until being restored to their former glory. However you plan to spend your holiday, Easy Oars looks forward to welcoming you year after year.
