Beautifully restored The Old Sunday School is a gorgeous holiday home with bags of character and oodles of space for everyone. Situated in the heart of the pretty village of Tregony, known as the gateway to the Roseland, it's the perfect spot for families and friends wishing to explore all this wonderful peninsula offers.

Laid out over three floors the ground floor welcomes you into a bright, light living area with masses of space for everyone. The kitchen is simply gorgeous, marrying tradition such as the Belfast sink and Aga with modern touches. Everything has been thought of for your holiday. The restored pine table with prettily painted chairs is charming and just the place to gather the troops to plan your day ahead. The two pretty armchairs will entice you to sit a while and relax whilst the wood-burning stove will keep the chill off in cooler months.

Upstairs the galleried first floor sitting-room is a great place to kick back and sprawl on the comfy sofas. The wood-burner will keep you toasty in cooler weather and the Velux windows flood the room with natural light.

The bedrooms are all located on the lower ground floor. Bedroom one with a comfy super-king (or twin) bed is a relaxing oasis with cleverly exposed stonework and subtle shades. The en suite shower-room is a great addition and the patio doors invite you to step outside and enjoy the morning fresh air. The second bedroom is as pretty as a picture and has a fabulous roll-top bath in the adjoining en suite. This room also leads directly outside so you can drink your morning coffee there, a great way to start the day. Bedroom three has a double bed and is oh so cute, it also has an en suite shower-room so there'll be no queuing for the shower at The Old Sunday School!

The small but perfectly formed outside space has a pine bench where everyone can gather for a spot of al fresco dining, the all-important barbecue and a sweet summer-house where you can sit in the shade and relax into your holiday. Whatever time of year you choose to stay, you will look forward to returning to The Old Sunday School again and again.

The charming village of Tregony, on the banks of the Fal River, is definitely a place worth exploring for its unusual clock tower and 17th Century almshouses. There is a local shop, ideal for those holiday essentials, and the Kings Arms which has a lovely walled garden for those all-important holiday refreshments. Known as the gateway to the Roseland, Tregony is perfectly placed for exploring the wonders of the area. The Roseland is a dedicated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the most stunning countryside and coastline is virtually on your doorstep. Walkers will delight in discovering secret coves, secluded beaches and crystal-clear waters along the coast path which encompasses the Roseland.

Portscatho is a short car journey away where you will find one of the most unspoilt seaside villages in Cornwall. Seek out the Hidden Hut overlooking Porthcurnick beach where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy dining on local delights (booking is essential on feast nights).

St Mawes is a bustling picturesque harbour town where you can choose to eat fish and chips on the harbour wall or fine dining, and everything in between. The passenger ferry will take you over the estuary to Falmouth where a great range of eclectic shops await, alongside the Maritime Museum which is definitely a place to see. The area is a gardener's paradise with Caerhays Castle, Trebah Gardens and of course the mighty Eden Project biomes waiting to be discovered. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, only discovered 30 years ago after lying overgrown since World War I, have been beautifully restored and should definitely be on your 'to do list'.

Wherever your adventures take you, you are assured of a restful and relaxing time at The Old Sunday School.
