Nestled in the timeless Cornish village of Mousehole, terraced Coastguard Cottage is a charming hideaway for four. Just minutes away from Mousehole's harbour and beach, savour a slice of coastal life - perfect to enjoy year-round, whether you're basking under the Cornish sun or wrapping up warm for an invigorating wintery walk on the coast path.

Located down a stepped path (via 15 steps), arrive and walk inside to discover pretty as a picture interiors. The cute sitting-room has comfortable sofas, with touches of coastal blue throughout and a wood-burner effect electric stove, just perfect for those cosy winter evenings. Rustle up a delicious dinner in the lovely and light kitchen and gather around the dining-table to enjoy it over discussions of tomorrow's adventures. You will also find one of two shower-rooms located on this floor too.

Up the stairs, which are narrow and steep - typical of a traditional Cornish cottage - you will find two beautiful bedrooms, a wonderfully comfy double room with sea views and a very pretty twin room, both with crisp white linens. Your second contemporary shower-room is also on this floor.

Head outside to uncover the magic of the secret garden, nestled down the small lane adjacent to the cottage; a gorgeous place to relax, soak up the sunshine and admire the sea views. At the front of the house there's another outdoor space with a table and chairs - you can easily while away a few hours gazing out to sea.

There's something quite special about Mousehole, a friendly and welcoming village with plenty of charm and fascinating history. Discover the local eateries, from cute cafes to charming pubs and fabulous restaurants, all tucked away down sweet little streets, wander around the art galleries and pop into the lovely shops to pick up a holiday treat or two.

Mousehole is a good base to discover what this gorgeous area of west Cornwall has to offer. Explore the simply stunning coast path on the walk from Mousehole to Lamorna, it's so pretty! The nearby towns and villages of Newlyn, Sennen, Marazion and Porthcurno all make for fantastic days out and unforgettable memories to be made. Enjoy a magical evening watching a show at The Minack Theatre, perched on the cliffs above Porthcurno. See if you can spot any dolphins!
