Welcome to La Cabine Francaise, a glorious expanse of glamping bliss with a French twist. Set in the stunning Dorset countryside, this exclusive spot for two provides the perfect romantic escape.

This magnificent site contains two gorgeous huts - the main hut oozing French flare and boasting exceptional comfort with a king-size bed and cosy wood-burner. Close by there is a luxurious relaxation hut that you are sure to be delighted with. Inside there is a super-comfy recliner sofa, wood-burner and bookcase - this really is a fabulous space to unwind with a good book on lazy afternoons.

The two shepherd's huts provide a glorious mix of chic and elegant living, with quality furnishings throughout. Luxury linens, toiletries and under-floor heating are just some of the lavish touches. La Cabine Francaise offers a stylish take on glamping with all the indulgences of a luxury hotel - it doesn't get much better than this! Tucked away in sleepy Dorset, this idyllic location is the perfect place to spend some quality time with your beau.

Outside, enjoy the peaceful views from the large terrace with a glass of fizz in hand - you will love al fresco dining here. On starry nights, while away the hours enjoying the warmth and crackles of the fire-pit with a mug of hot chocolate. You are free to explore the beautifully landscaped grounds and the owners' gorgeous, friendly sheep may want to say hello. Also situated in the grounds but totally private is The Old Mill (4503), a beautiful converted mill accommodating four guests.

The nearby village of Cattistock is a picturesque spot, nestled in the gorgeous countryside; the real heart of Hardy country. There is a thriving community shop selling excellent local produce and the church boasts the tallest church tower in Dorset. Dorchester, the county town, is a short drive away and still has a traditional weekly market.

The rolling West Dorset hills are sure to capture your heart, whether you are exploring them on slow summer days or crisp autumnal mornings. Winter time calls for cosying up in hidden country pubs and the spring brings an abundance of life and colour to enjoy.

Your Dorset holiday would of course not be complete without a trip to the Jurassic Coast. Breathtaking golden cliffs await you at West Bay or for sand between your toes, head to Weymouth or Lyme Regis (a foodie heaven too). Sit and watch the sunsets as the rays glisten over the blue waters.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway in a rural idyll, away from the stresses and strains of modern day living, La Cabine Francaise is the perfect choice. Once you arrive you won't want to leave.

Please be aware that there is a large pond in the grounds, as well as a stream, so please take care. The Maiden Newton to Yetminster train line runs the other side of the border to the owners' grounds, which you may hear in the distance, however we are confident this will not impact your stay as the trains only run approximately every three hours and are slow trundling passenger trains. They do not run any later than 9pm.
