Zip and linkWith one of the best views on the Isle of Wight, 1 St Josephs is a superb ground floor apartment beautifully decorated throughout. The property has a large patio area spanning two sides of the apartment, with outdoor seating perfectly positioned to admire the panoramic views out to sea.
Madeira Road is just a short walk from Ventnor town centre and a few steps further to the beach.
The accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, the main has an en suite shower-room and there is a family bathroom next to the second twin room. Both rooms have been tastefully furnished to create a very comfortable holiday home.
The kitchen/diner is spacious and contemporary with seating for four and wonderful sea views through the window. The owners have equipped the apartment with everything you could need to ensure your holiday is relaxing and stress-free.
The large separate sitting-room also benefits from a window to the front to take advantage of the vista, here you can spread out whilst watching a good film or sit back and relax with a glass of wine and a good book at the end of the day. There are games and books for guests to enjoy.
Ventnor Town itself is fast becoming known for the best dining experiences across the Island. Attracting more and more new restaurants from all different countries, you could sample a different one on every night of your holiday.
The seafront has undergone a transformation over the last decade, the now idyllic bay is lined by smart cafes, restaurants and shops, all with outdoor seating looking out to sea. The Spyglass Inn perched on the end tip of the bay, overlooks the water, specialising in locally-caught seafood. The Admiral’s Platter comes highly recommended!
Ventnor is also known for its micro climate, and due to this it is the home of The Botanical Gardens, one of the best gardens in the UK. Due to the mild climate its collection of subtropical and exotic plants is unrivalled, making it a fantastic day out for all the family, with a children’s play area and cafe also for your enjoyment.
Take a hike along the cliff path into Steephill Cove, a traditional and unspoilt fishing cove, no road access makes it a peaceful and charming spot.
