Perfectly situated in the heart of the popular sailing village of Seaview on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight, 7 Sandpipers is a well-equipped town house set across three floors, ideal for either a family holiday or friends looking for an island getaway where even the dog is welcome.

Sandpipers is conveniently situated just a short stroll away from the beach and village amenities in a quiet courtyard of similar properties. The ground floor is home to the open plan living space with dining and kitchen areas and all the equipment you will need to cook a holiday meal. The sitting-area has patio doors so you can choose to dine inside or al fresco depending on the weather.

Climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find bedrooms one and two and the family bathroom. Bedroom one is light and bright thanks to the dual-aspect windows and has a comfy king-size bed for a restful night. Bedroom two is a single room with a 2'6" bed, suitable for a child only. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over so you can choose either a long soak or a refreshing shower after a busy day at the beach.

Climb the stairs to the second floor to bedroom three with a comfy king-size bed and TV with DVD player. There are distant sea views from this room. This room has a lovely en suite shower-room and is light and bright thanks to the Velux window.

Outside, 7 sandpipers has a small, secluded rear garden, perfect for sitting in the island sun and dining from dawn until dusk. With everything close at hand, this pleasant property has all you need for a holiday on the Isle of Wight.

Your island adventure begins from the moment you set sail on the ferry across the picturesque Solent. Seaview is a charming, much sought-after timeless village situated on the easterly side of the island with all you need virtually on the doorstep. The beach is a short stroll away and you can choose from the pretty local beach, Seagrove Bay and Priory Bay, all ideal for families and water sports lovers for kayaking and paddleboarding. Lily's Cafe serves great freshly brewed coffee, breakfasts, lunch and takeaway sandwiches, perfect for a picnic. The Old Fort has a lovely view of the sea, eclectic furnishings and serves locally sourced food for lunch and dinner (booking is advised as it's very popular!). For a special treat at the Seaview Hotel, you can choose either more formal dining in the restaurant or the bar for a chilled-out atmosphere. The local community shop is run by volunteers and is a great place to stock up on holiday essentials and island produce, indeed it is possible to holiday here and never need your car. If you do decide to travel, Bembridge is a short drive away with a great choice of shops including a delightful bakery, fishmonger and Woodfords Butchers, renowned island wide for quality meats. Bembridge is home to the last surviving windmill on the island and also a stunning lifeboat station. If your four-legged friend is holidaying with you, Bembridge has five miles of dog friendly beach at low tide, perfect for swimming, paddling and exploring.

Further afield, Osborne House once the home of Queen Victoria sits in splendour overlooking the Solent near Cowes and is well worth a visit for the beautiful extensive gardens, stunning house and private beach with original beach bathing hut. For a scenic day out head down picturesque Military Road towards West Wight and see the crystal-clear waters of Freshwater. Whilst you are here don't miss the iconic Needles where you can take a chairlift to Alum Bay and a launch over the water for a close-up view. However you plan to spend your blissful island getaway, 7 Sandpiper is a great base for all your holiday adventures.
