Zip and linkNeptune is a spacious, contemporary apartment in a stunning seafront development in Westward Ho!, a small, friendly coastal town that suits all ages at all times of year.
The reverse level accommodation gives you a first floor balcony the full length of the living-room, looking over the sea to Lundy Island and along the coast towards the famous surfing beach at Saunton Sands. There is a real sense of the great outdoors here – join in, or simply watch in comfort!
On the ground floor you will discover two beautifully styled and furnished bedrooms, bedroom one offers a super comfy super-king size bed with a generously sized en suite shower-room, bedroom two offers the versatility of a zip and link bed creating a twin option or a super-king bed, the choice is yours. Adjacent to this bedroom you will discover the family bathroom so there will be no queuing for a shower in the morning before hitting the coast path! There is a secure communal entrance and underground parking for one car, plus private parking for a second car.
This is a great place to stay – luxurious, welcoming and equipped as a real home-from-home.
There is an award-winning cafe just across the green aptly-named Tea on the Green, a range of shops and miles of Blue Flag beach with a vast stretch of sand at low tide as well as rock pools to explore, while the South West Coast Path is literally on the doorstep.
The two pretty villages of Appledore and Instow face each other across the estuary just around the headland with a seasonal passenger ferry between the two. Order a picnic from John's Deli – there is one in each of these two villages – and make the most of a long lazy day on the sand.
The beaches at Instow are just as popular with families as Westward Ho!, though what can be better than a beach on your own doorstep!
Inland, the unspoilt north Devon countryside is well worth some outings too – try the Tarka cycle trail from Barnstaple or the Tarka railway all the way to the Cathedral City of Exeter.
