TwinWonderful panoramic views over Falmouth harbour towards the Roseland peninsula can be enjoyed from every aspect at this spacious bungalow. It really has the 'wow' factor. Set below road level (down 24 steps) The Lookout is aptly-named and provides the most unexpected surprise – a stunning terraced garden planted with a profusion of shrubs, trees and exotic plants, complete with gazebo and summer-house.
Furnished in a contemporary style and providing a superbly comfortable base; with views from every room over the ever-changing outlook. The large sitting/dining-room has bi-fold doors that bring the outside in, so you can relax on the comfortable sofas or chat over a long relaxing meal whilst looking out over Flushing, Falmouth Harbour and beyond.
The kitchen/breakfast-room is fully equipped and ideal for informal meals, and also has a door out to the large terrace so you can easily enjoy eating al fresco. Both bedrooms have en suite facilities, the double with a bath and shower and the twin with a shower-room, plus there is also a guest WC.
Outside, the large terrace catches the morning sun which is perfect for your morning coffee or perhaps watch the light on the far side of the estuary create amazing colours.
The Lookout is set in the heart of lively Falmouth, just two minute stroll from the bustling town centre and all of Falmouth's shops, bars, pubs and restaurants. High Street is worth a stroll along with galleries, antiques shops and lovely restaurants and bars, The Lookout is in fact perched above The Old Brewery Yard on High Street in this area rich in history.
Sandy Gyllyngvase beach and the popular Gylly Beach Cafe are less than a mile away and Swanpool beach and nature reserve slightly further. This is a fantastic area for sailing and many other watersports, and tuition of all kinds is available locally. Ferries run from the nearby Prince of Wales Pier to Flushing, St Mawes, Truro and the Helford River. Gardens at Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick are all worth visiting, and the surfing beaches of the north coast are a short car journey away.
