Situated in the centre of pretty Crantock, a short distance from the village green and just half a mile from the sandy, dog-friendly beach and rolling surf - this makes for the perfect destination.

This historic property was built in 1825, and is Grade II listed - retaining many original features, with dovecotes, beamed ceilings and partial slate floors which is ever so charming. Entering through the large front door you are greeted by a huge slated entrance hall which has the wow factor. This leads to the living-room, kitchen and the stairs up to the bedrooms. The living-room, with its large granite fireplace housing a multi-burner is a lovely place to relax together at the end of the day, this living-room also has a formal dining space for those large group meals. There is also a sitting-room where you can kick back and relax in front of a good film or box set and plenty of space for everyone to spread out throughout the property. Not forgetting the games-room where you can try your hand at pool or table football.

Down a few steps from the living-room you will find the kitchen/breakfast-room where you can take your time over breakfast and make plans for the day. A wide, glazed door opens outside from the breakfast-area to the sunny enclosed patio

From the slate entrance hall, the staircase ascends to the galleried landing and five bedrooms, all with en suite facilities which is such a luxury. Two of the bedrooms have lovely king-size beds; bedroom 1 has an en suite bathroom and bedroom 2 has an en suite shower-room. Bedroom 5 also has a king-size bed along with a single bed which is perfect for couples with a little one. There are two twin bedrooms which are great for flexibility in a party depending on your needs - lots of space for everyone.

Outside you will find a sheltered and private patio with pretty plants in the boarder with tumbling, fragrant roses and rosemary perfect for marinading your food ready to cook on the barbecue. There is a large dining-table to accommodate the whole party on those balmy summer evenings.

The gorgeous beach at Crantock is a short walk away where surfing, bathing, walking or building sandcastles are all on the agenda. The local village shop sells all you may need including pasties from St Agnes bakery, and the two village pubs offer local beers and ales along with the freshest local dishes, all cooked to order, what more could you ask for! Don't forget to visit The Jam Jar too.

Crantock is very popular for walking days and exploring the rugged coastline, so don't forget those walking boots. A stunning walk to discover is the path from Crantock to Holywell Bay passing West Pentire on your way and if you time it right you may be lucky enough to capture the famous poppies in their magnificent glory, so don't forget your camera.

A short drive down the coast brings you to St Agnes. Spend an easy day pottering around this timeless village with lots of independent shops, cafes, and wine bars. Take a drive up to Wheal Kitty where you will find the very popular 'Canteen' serving fabulous, delicious dishes and home to the very trendy Finisterre clothes store. With the family attraction of Camel Creek close by and the award-winning Cider Farm at nearby Healey's this is a terrific base for families, couples and friends.
