This is a beautiful cottage, we had a wonderful week and thoroughly recommend it. The cottage has everything you need, is ideally placed for everything, and is so peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Excellent equipment, bed so comfy that we “over slept” by an hour or so. Peace and quiet. For us a big perfect.

We loved our stay at Sophie’s cottage, the dogs loved the large garden and walk to the beach every morning, perfect location with a pub within walking distance and the lovely coastal path! The cottage is beautifully designed and we had everything we needed, the bed was one of the comfiest in any cottage we have stayed! Can’t wait to come back ...

Lovely cottage in a great location. Ideal for a short relaxing break.
Mrs Donovan July 2024
Sophie’s Cottage is a charming and delightful property set in a quiet hamlet. It is well appointed and the welcome pack was much appreciated on our arrival after a five and a half hour drive from Hampshire. The Cottage is well located for visiting the lovely local beaches such as Pendower, Carne and Portscatho, as well as various places of interest such as Trelissick Gardens, Truro and it’s cathedral, St Just in Roseland, and St Mawes is especially delightful. We enjoyed our week there very much and would recommend Sophie’s Cottage as a relaxing and peaceful place to stay, but it should be noted that the open tread staircase and lack of upstairs bathroom facilities might not be suitable for everyone....
