You are sure to enjoy your holiday meals all gathered around the dining-table, but you also have a great choice of places to eat out in the area, so why not give your designated chef an evening off?

Find your inner Mary Berry as you prepare meals on the Aga. There is also a gas oven in the utility-room if you are a little nervous about the Aga.

With a view like that, you won't mind being tied to the kitchen sink.

Patio doors lead from the kitchen out to the terrace.

The snug on the ground floor, perfect for some quiet time.

On chiller evenings the open fire is a welcome sight.

The setting is unique and totally private.

There's a lawned area that leads off from the terrace, perfect for the little ones to burn up some energy.

The popular village of Port Isaac is only a couple of miles away. Home of TV's 'Doc Martin' The Fisherman's Friends and Acclaimed Chef Nathan Outlaw it is sure to become a regular place to visit throughout your stay.

The little bay of Port Gaverne is reached just before Port Isaac. Make time to treat yourself to a drink or meal at the gastro pub in the Port Gaverne Hotel.

Port Isaac is picture perfect.

This stretch of coastline is littered with stunning beaches. Polzeath is a firm favourite with families and surfers.

Once you have explored the village and little harbour at Boscastle, there are some great coastal and inland walks to discover.

For Arthurian myth and legend, head off to Tintagel.

The ruins of Tintagel castle, said to be the birthplace of King Arthur.

For some fun on two wheels, take a ride along the renowned Camel Trail. A 17 mile trail that leads from Bodmin Moor all the way to Padstow on the north coast. For a shorter ride, you can join the trail at Bodmin and Wadebridge.
