Perfectly situated for exploring places like Rye, Battle, Dungeness and Camber Sands as well as an easy drive to Brighton, it offers complete relaxation as well as peace and quiet on your return after a busy day sight seeing. The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished but the real joy was watching the wildlife. The owners horses were very friendly, there were so many varieties of birds and in the evenings we were able to sit and watch foxes visiting the property. If you have a dog then Camber Sands, Winchelsea Beach and Hastings country park are great places to visit with them....

The cottage is lovely and owner very helpful. It is warm and comfortable, a wonderful quiet place to stay and very dog friendly (although not possible to let the dog off the lead as there are horses on the property and no secure fenced area around the cottage. The surrounding area is interesting and lots of places to visit - Rye, Kipling's House Batemans, Camber Sands, Battle etc. I would happily go back....
