The approach to Leat Mill Cottage is over the small bridge and down beside the river.
This is the lane down to the river and the cottages beyond. A short walk along here takes you into the main village.
Locally known for excellent food is The Arundell Arms in the village, a bit of a hill to get to it but downhill all the way home.

Within walking distance is a good pub.

Lovely light and airy cottage in an idealic spot. The owners have done an excellent job of turning the barn into a perfect holiday cottage. We had some great walks on Dartmoor and on the cornish coast with the dogs who also loved the nearby river. The Lifton hall hotel serves great food and is only a short stroll from the cottage. The owners were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome....

On arrival we had a lovely welcome by the owners and there was a clotted cream tea waiting for us in the kitchen . There was a superb log burner in the lounge which made our evenings very cosy . It was a great location in which to explore Devon and Cornwall....
