Weavers Rest

My wife and I stayed here in September, very lucky with the weather, so we were able to explore at lot of new areas. This cottage is in easy reach of the coast, can recommend the dolphin boat trip from New Quay. It is well situated to explore many attractions within an hours drive. Mike the owner met us on arrival, just as well, as It is a bit difficult to see where to enter the building to find the accommodation. Mike showed us around the cottage and the unit where he has his business to see the work he does. There is a folder in the cottage to explain the history of the mill. The property has been completed to a high standard, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. It was clean, had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom areas. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen. We did not have the benefit of the underfloor heating and had one electric heater in the kitchen/diner, which we had to leave on all the time and just adjust the level of the temperature. There is no mobile phone signal in the area. The TV has restricted viewing and you have to use the Amazon firestick, we could only get BBC iPlayer. The one down side we found was the lack of natural light and access for fresh air, which we especially like to have in the bedroom. The only room with a decent window to open and natural light is the living room, any other room you need the lights on. ...
